Therefore, medical treatment is carried out also a lot, depending on the cause. Furthermore, the experts add, many natural remedies that are beneficial for healthy hair, including: eating for health, the nutritional balance.

All the food is good for the body as a whole is also good for hair. Among other foods high in protein, low carbohydrate and low fat. But there are other substances that are specifically required for healthy hair, the omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, biotin, and minerals such as iron, zinc, and copper. Shortage of one of these substances often escapes our attention, but actually plays an important occurrence of hair loss.
Women menstruate every month, therefore women are particularly vulnerable to iron deficiency anemia. Studies have iron deficiency is a frequent cause of hair loss in women. Source of iron in the daily diet of vegetables such as green, red meat and liver. Vitamin B12 comes from eggs, and meat. Therefore supplementation of vitamin B 12 is required for those who do not eat foods mentioned above.

The important thing is balanced with the intake of nutritious food for healthy hair. Safely care for your hair.

Autoimmune Diseases

Autoimmune diseases arise from the overactive immune response of the body against substances and tissues normally present in the body. In other words, the body's own cells attack instead. This can be restricted to specific organs (e.g. in tiroiditis) or involve specific tissue in different places (e.g. Goodpasture's disease that can affect both the basal membrane in the lungs and kidneys). Treatment of autoimmune diseases usually with immunosuppression — medication that lowers the body's immune response. There is an ongoing discussion about when autoimmune disease should be considered, which leads to different criteria as Witebsky's postulates. Causes may include molecular mimicry, or the presence of fetal cells in maternal blood flow, i.e. microchimerism, and infection with certain viruses and bacteria.

Autoimmune diseases occur when the immune or immune system within which should serve against the disease germ from outside the body actually attacks its own tissues. Some autoimmune diseases, including Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis attacked women 2 to 10 times more than men. At first, the sex hormones is considered to play a role in autoimmune diseases.Found a nearly identical cell types in the blood of human autoimmune patients. In women with Rheumatoid Arthritis, the presence of these cells increases the growing age. When ABC ran out in mice, to auto immune disease rates down. This gives recommendations for potential treatment of autoimmune diseases.

Methemoglobinemia

Methemoglobinemia is the inability of the hemoglobin in the red blood cells to bind oxygen, because the hemoglobin is bound to nitrite. This resulting from the alteration of nitric oxide which is contaminating local moons drinking water by microorganisms in the human digestive tract. In the 1940s, many found cases of methemoglobinemia in people who use asetanilida. Methemoglobinemia is an excess of methemoglobin in the blood that could cause hemoglobin to bind oxygen is difficult. In 1946, the Institute study of Analgesic antipyretic effects of drugs and give assistance to The Sedatives Health New York to examine issues related to analgesic agent.
Bernard Brodie and Julius Axelrod were assigned to examine why the agent instead of aspirin (asetanilida) associated with methemoglobinemia.

In their writing in 1948, Brodie and Axelrod said, the use of asetanilida can cause methemoglobinemia and found that the effect of analgesic antipyretic effects caused by asetanilidanya asetanilida not, but due to the results of the metabolism of asetanilida, i.e. the paracetamol so they conclude that analgetik should be used for a direct metabolite is antipyretic asetanilida i.e. asetanilida instead of paracetamol can cause methemoglobinemia.

Methemoglobinemia has an overview of the clinical disease is very typical of the appearance sianotik blue due to the fact that some meaningful amounts of iron in hemogobin red blood cells circulating in the form of ferri and unable to carry oxygen.

Clinical vignette that looks due to methemoglobin include headaches, fatigue, fainting, cyanosis, disarythmia and circulatory failure and progressive effects of the central nervous system and even death.

The Symptoms of Pancreatic Cancer

Hi friends ... I have not made any new posts .... I hope you miss me. This time I want to write about one type of cancer. We know there are many types of cancer, and it is featured each day, will never be finished. Cancer that I will tell is a cancer that attacks the pancreas or commonly referred to as Pancreatic Cancer.

Pancreatic Cancer often goes undetected until it's advanced and difficult to treat. In the vast majority of cases, symptoms only develop after pancreatic cancer has grown and begun to spread. What are the symptoms of pancreatic cancer, and can any symptoms lead to earlier detection? Because more than 95% of pancreatic cancer is the adenocarcinoma type, we'll describe those symptoms first, followed by symptoms of rare forms of pancreatic cancer.

Because the pancreas is located deep within the abdominal cavity in front of the spine, pancreatic cancer often grows silently months before detection. The first symptoms may be absent or it must be very thin. The most recognizable symptoms develop after a tumor grows large enough to overwhelm other nearby structures such as nerves (pain), intestines (which influence appetite and cause nausea, weight loss) or the biliary ducts (which causes jaundice, or yellowing of the skin and may cause loss of appetite and itching). Symptoms in women are often different from men. After the tumour is cancerous cells in the blood and lymph systems, and metastasized, more symptoms usually occur depending on the location of the metastasis. Frequent metastatic pancreatic cancer sites, including the liver, lymph nodes and the mucous membrane of the stomach (called peritoneum). Unfortunately, most types of pancreatic cancer are after cancer has grown outside of the pancreas or has metastasized to other places.

The New Form of Cancer : Mesothelimia

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by exposure to asbestos. In this disease, malignant cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the organs. The most common site is the pleura (the outer layer of the lungs and internal chest wall), but may also occur in the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity), heart, pericardium (the sac that surrounds the heart) or tunica vaginalis.

Most people who develop mesothelioma have worked on jobs where they inhaled asbestos particles, or they have been exposed to asbestos dust and fibers in other ways. It has also been suggested that washing the clothes of family members who work with asbestos can put someone at risk for developing mesothelioma. Unlike lung cancer, no association between mesothelioma and smoking, but smoking greatly increases the risk of other asbestos-caused cancer. Compensation via asbestos funds or lawsuits is an important issue in mesothelioma.

Symptoms of mesothelioma include shortness of breath due to pleural effusion (fluid between the lung and the chest wall) or chest wall pain, and general symptoms such as weight loss. Diagnosis can be suspected with chest X-rays and a CT scan, and confirmed with a biopsy (tissue sample) and microscopic. A thoracoscopy (inserting a tube with a camera into the chest) can be used to take biopsies. This allows the introduction of substances such as talc to obliterate the pleural space (called pleurodesis), which prevents more fluid from accumulating and pressing on the lung. Despite treatment with chemotherapy, radiation therapy or sometimes surgery, the disease carry a poor prognosis. Research about screening tests for early detection of mesothelioma is ongoing.

Hepatitis C

Hepatitis C is a liver disease caused by hepatitis C virus (HCV). The disease is spread through infected blood. HCV spreads easily when drug users using needle devices interchangeably. More than 80 percent of injection drug users infected with HCV. Hepatitis C can also be spread through unprotected sex. HCV is more easily transmitted than HIV through contaminated blood. In Indonesia, there are about 40 times more people than HIV-positive HCV-positive. You can be infected with HCV and is not aware of it. 15-30 percent of people clear HCV from their bodies without treatment. 70-85 percent develop chronic infection, and the virus stays in the body unless it is successfully treated. HCV may not cause a problem for approximately ten years or even longer, but Hep C can cause severe liver damage leading to heart failure and death.
After the hepatitis c harm the liver, blood tests will show test results are abnormal liver function. ALT and AST levels may be a sign of liver disease or injury. Even the normal functions of the liver, hepatitis c can cause liver damage. If you have HIV, should we test for HCV, in particular, if we ever injecting alternative equipment. Blood tests for HCV infection, including HCV antibodies and viral load. This test is similar to an HIV test. Often millions of viral load. The results of this test predicts the speed of diseases such as HIV viral load. HCV antibody tests may not detect hepatitis c by about 20 percent of people with HIV and HCV. HIV-infected patients with elevated hepatic enzymes tests should consider getting hepatitis c viral load.
HCV infection can be cured if treatment is started very soon after infection. Unfortunately, early signs of hepatitis seems like the flu. Most new cases are diagnosed several years after infection. The first step in treating HCV is to determine the type of HCV. There are six known types of HCV, called the "genotype". Most people infected with genotype 1. Some people infected with genotype 2 or 3. Genotype 1 is more difficult to treat than genotypes 2 or 3. The usual treatment for HCV is the combination of the drugs interferon and ribavirin. Interferon must be injected under the skin three times a week, and ribavirin is a pill taken twice a day. These drugs have severe side effects, including flu-like symptoms, irritability, depression, and low levels of red blood cells (anemia) or white blood cells.
Ribavirin increases the amount of ddI in the bloodstream, and can increase the side effects of ddI. Do not take ribavirin with zidovudine at the same time. Ribavirin may cause birth defects. Women should not wear it for six months or more before becoming pregnant, or during pregnancy. Men should not take ribavirin for at least six months prior to impregnate a woman. In 2001, a new form of interferon called "pegylated interferon" is approved to treat HCV. Types of drugs last longer in the blood. Only one injection is needed every week. Pegylated interferon seems to be stronger than the original shape. The drug is also used in combination with ribavirin.
HCV treatment usually lasts 6-12 months, depending on HCV genotype. After treatment, approximately 40% of patients with HCV genotype 1 and 80 percent of patients with genotype 2 or 3 had undetectable HCV RNA. This means the amount of HCV in the blood are too low to be detected. This percentage applies to people with HCV, not for people who are also infected with HIV. The figure for people living with HIV is lower. People with HCV RNA was still detectable after treatment may need to continue using interferon at lower doses, called "maintenance therapy."

They found a more efficient machine processing method of processing cocoa and chocolate to find a better.

Migraine Attack : Types and Symptoms

There are several different patterns of migraine :
  • Migraine with aura (also known as classic migraine). Before the illness began a few people will get a sign that a migraine is coming (aura). They suddenly can not see clearly or see flashing dots, sometimes in a semicircle that is slowly growing. Aura also can present as weakness or numbness on one side of the body, or difficulty speaking. Aura usually lasts less than 40 minutes, then disappear when the headache begins. Pain and other effects such as nausea and vomiting, together with another migraine, but may last much shorter (usually less than 24 hours).
  • Migraine without aura. This is the most common type (about 80% of cases). In this type preceded the attack without aura.
  • Menstrual migraines. About 60% of female migraine sufferers have this type, which occurred between 2 days before menstruation until the end of menstruation. Studies show estrogen withdrawal as a trigger factor. After a brief peak at the time of ovulation, estrogen levels decline rapidly. Pregnancy is generally a positive impact on migraine attacks.
  • Migraine in children. Children until the beginning of many teenagers who have symptoms of migraine (such as nausea and vomiting) without headaches. 'Abdominal pain' They just complain. Therefore, often called 'stomach migraine'. migraine attacks lasted shorter than in adults, between 30 minutes and 48 hours (without medication).
The Symptom
  1. Phase One: prodromal. This phase is the early warning phase, in which some people may have a feeling it is not clear, but hinted that they would get a migraine attack. Not all people get this feeling or being aware of its meaning. Sometimes other people are more aware of the signs compared with those who will experience it. These feelings may include mood changes such as irritability, depression, or loss of appetite increased, fatigue, hypersensitivity to light, touch the sound, and smell.
  2. The second stage: the aura. Disturbance due to changes in blood flow in the brain's vision. Aura usually lasts for about 20-40 minutes. Aura also can affect all the senses, not just the eyes, like a sense of touch (numbness, often in the face), smell (odor or sting is not real), taste (appetite changes), auditory (sound ringing in the ears). Another form of aura include lack of concentration, vague and slurred speech, mental confusion, forgetting, drowsiness, impaired coordination and balance, dizziness, hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that do not exist), sweating, muscle spasms.
  3. The third stage: headache. Headaches often begin on one side (unilateral), and feel inside or behind the eyes which can then be spread so that involves the entire head. Head throbbing, worsening with movement. Many people also nausea and vomiting. A small number of people suffer from diarrhea or frequent urination. During this phase the patients become hypersensitive to light or sound and want to lie down in a quiet dark room. Headaches can last an hour or two, but also to all day or up to 3 days (or sometimes longer). Frequent headaches stopped after sleep.
  4. Fourth phase: drunk. This phase may last several hours, one day or more and can be regarded as the recovery phase. Patients often feel weak, tired, unhealthy and may experience a mild headache.

Migraine : General info

Migraine symptoms is a recurrent headache attacks that are usually felt on one side of the head, throbbing, accompanied by nausea or vomiting. Migraine is a type of headache is very common. Before puberty, boys and girls the same opportunity to get a migraine. However, after puberty women are three times more often affected than men. Migraine affects about 2-10% of men and 5-25% in women. The first attack of migraine generally occurs at a young age, around 10-11 years old. According to a 2165 study of Scottish children aged 5 to 15 years, 11% of children suffering from migraine. The attacks decreased after age 45-50 years. Migraine is a neurovascular headache, a condition in which nerve stimulation causes dilation of blood vessels. This gives rise to pain and further stimulation of the central nervous system.

The cause of migraine is unclear, but clearly there are genetic factors. Most migraine sufferers have other family members who also experienced it. The trigger of this disease can, because lack of sleep, certain foods, foods that contain MSG / nitrate / aspartame, stress, menstruation, caffeine, visual stimuli (such as flashing light) and weather changes can trigger migraine attacks. Some people regularly get migraines after stress, for example, a day after the exam. The most likely cause of the food is chocolate, cheese, and orange juice. If you often wake up at night or wake up in the morning with a migraine, may lead to low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). In such cases, snack before bed can prevent attacks.

VITAMIN

Body requires vitamins for metabolism; this study found that quite a lot of eye diseases are always closely associated with a lack of vitamins. Because this vitamin can not be synthetic in the body or the lack of synthetic, so it should be required to absorb the vitamins through food diversity is very important for the prevention and treatment and reduce the symptoms of certain eye diseases. Then, what the other diseases that would cause if the lack of vitamins?

Lack of vitamin A. It can cause night blindness diseases, Exophthalmia and sifting cornea. Manifestation is blurred vision in the light of an exhausted, slightly dim, dry eye and others. Because the physiological effects of vitamin A deficiency associated with the visual impression of the dark, he could combine his name redopsin substance inside the eye, redopsin have an important impact on the visibility is good and the maintenance of normal adjustments, related to the maintenance of structural integrity of the skin and accelerate the development of growth. If immediately filled with egg yolk, milk, meat, (sort of spinach-like vegetable), tomatoes, carrots, chicory, fish, fish oil, animal liver and so on. Can improve the symptoms mentioned above.

Lack of vitamin B1. Easily arise Exophthalmia, optic neuritis or optic neuritis orbital and so forth. Manifest dry eye, decreased vision, and dilated pupils, slow to react to light, are interested in pain when moving eyes, sunken eyes felt tight and sore and so forth. Because the main physiologic effect of vitamin B1 is to accelerate the process of cell metabolism, particularly related to the function of nerve conduction. Must be filled with foods rich in vitamin B1, for example fur rice, wheat flour, peanut foods, animal liver, beans, squash, sprouts, potatoes, apricot seeds, walnuts and so on. Useful to reduce symptoms of diseases as mentioned above.Lack of vitamin B2. Most of the time can cause inflammation of the visual nerve, eye rash, inflammation of the lining of the eye and so forth. Manifestation decreased visibility, eye afraid of light, tears flow, traffic jams lining the eyes and so forth. If you frequently eat foods rich in vitamin B2, like yeast, food, dairy products, beef, animal liver, soybeans, pocai, spinach, mushrooms, sunflower seeds, and fruits and so forth. Will be able to help prevent and treat symptoms of the disease.

Lack of vitamin C. Can cause bleeding in the eyelids, front room, vitreous body, retina, and can even cause cataracts, and so forth. Because the main benefit of vitamin C is to keep the formation of intercellular substance, the following oxidation reaction of cells to restore the original settings and other metabolic reactions in the body, and has a softening effect of blood vessels. Therefore, when vitamin deficiency, can cause bleeding eye, as mentioned above.

Right now, lets we eat more green vegetables and fresh fruits; will be useful to prevent bleeding throughout the body and eyes. Because vitamin C can weaken the light and oxygen to the damage to the eye lens (cataract associated with the occurrence of disease), so multiply that eating foods rich in vitamin C, and may slow cataract disease.

OSTEOPOROSIS

Osteoporosis is one disease that afflicts bone due to decreased bone mass and density. As a result of osteoporosis are the bones become brittle and break easily due to reduced bone density. Bone itself is one important part of our body. Bone is the framework that supports our body so we can move. You can imagine if this body supports the fragile, brittle and easily broken, the result is pain in the bones, moving disturbance even cause paralysis and permanent disability. Here are some suggestions that you can apply to porous bone disease did not experience this.
Calcium
Calcium is an element of bone and teeth formation. So, for bone density that is sustainable, it is important to eat lots of calcium found in milk. Unfortunately, with age, the ability to absorb calcium is reduced. So, you should familiarize yourself or your child to drink milk every day from an early age. Osteoporosis is the lack of calcium intake at a young age.
Young people, often they think no longer need to consume dairy foods that are considered as a small child. Or because it thinks the bone can not grow anymore so they are reluctant to drink milk. Indeed, in general, the bones stop growing at age 16-18 years, but that does not mean we no longer need to pay attention to bone health, because the function of bone is very important for the body.
Calcium is needed for each person is different, depending on weight and activity. In pregnant and lactating mothers, who need more calcium. The following table will explain the amount of calcium needed by age. Calcium not only found in milk, other foods such as fish, bone soup, green vegetables such as spinach and beans are one source of calcium. Because calcium can not be reproduced our bodies, it is important to drink milk and consume foods that contain calcium.
Vitamin D
In order for calcium derived from milk and food can be absorbed completely, need vitamin D. It would be unfortunate, if we consume lots of foods that contain calcium, but can not be absorbed properly, so that eventually the body takes calcium from the bone. As a result, bones become brittle. To get vitamin D is actually not difficult. Sunlight in the morning (between 6:00 to 9:00) and afternoon (after 16.00) is one source of vitamin D. In the skin layer of our body there are actually non-activated vitamins D with exposure to sunlight and vitamin D may be active and useful to the body. Apart from the sun, vitamin D also can be obtained from foods such as fish (e.g. salmon and sardines), egg yolk, liver, milk, cheese and other dairy products.
Sports
Consuming calcium is important to exercise regularly to strengthen bones and increase bone density. Just like muscles, bones also need to be trained to make strong bones. Sports that can be done to train the bone is to do a sport that provides compression force on force, weak bones and twist styles. The style can stimulate bone growth so that the bones become healthier. You can try it with cycling, jogging, walking or up and down stairs. In addition to calcium intake, vitamin D and exercise would be better if you try to live healthier by quitting smoking. Cigarettes, coffee, alcohol, tea and cola can inhibit calcium absorption. Instead, eat nutritious food that meets the 4 healthy 5 perfect.

HOW TO PREVENT STROKE

Stroke is the third leading cause of death (after heart disease and cancer), and the number one cause of disability worldwide. The report of health department of the Republic of Indonesia (2007) noted that the stroke is the leading cause of death in hospital. Various studies have shown that stroke services in many parts of the world are still less than optimal. Delays in patients coming to hospital, lack of adequate diagnostic facilities and treatment, and lack of integrated cooperation among team members is a major provider of health problems in the treatment of stroke.
In each year, on October 29 is celebrated as "the day of stroke in the entire world." Day of stroke in the entire world that was initiated by the World Stroke Organization, a worldwide organization whose members include doctors, medical officers, and people who care about the stroke service. Day strokes around the world carrying the message that "stroke is a stroke can be prevented and treated." Theme days a year throughout the world stroke is "what can I do?". An important question for everyone who cares about the heart and stroke to inspire action. The challenge for everyone to be able to give a small contribution to stroke care in the world getting better.

Stroke can be prevented
Stroke is caused by the accumulation of risk factors for stroke. Stroke risk factors exist that can not be changed, and some can be changed. Risk factors for stroke that can not be changed are age, gender, race, family history, and history of previous stroke. Men are more prone to strokes than women. Old age is also more susceptible to stroke from a young age. Colored races are more prone to stroke than whites. Someone with a family history of stroke have a greater risk for stroke as well. Various risk factors for stroke are a risk factor that can not be changed.
There is also a risk factor for stroke that can be changed. Major risk factors for stroke are hypertension. Various studies show that 60% -70% of stroke patients suffer from hypertension at the time admitted. A common problem encountered is the ignorance and indifference to most members of the community about hypertension. Hypertension did not provide specific symptoms. A patient with hypertension will come of treatment because of complications caused by hypertension. That's what causes hypertension is called the "silent killer." Hypertension will kill people calmly and slowly, almost without symptoms. When we realize, the complications become more severe hypertension (eg heart disease, stroke and kidney failure).
Other risk factors for stroke can be changed are diabetes, high blood cholesterol, obesity, smoking, sleep disturbances, and excessive blood viscosity. Same with hypertension, stroke risk factors that are often overlooked and less well managed.
Stroke prevention begins with recognizing the risk factors for stroke in all of us. Ask the following questions to yourself: "? I know my last blood sugar levels?" "I know my blood pressure this month",, "I never measure my waist?", And "I Know my blood cholesterol?" . If there are 2 or more answers "no", then that means you are less concerned. Identifying risk factors for stroke that can be controlled to yourself, at relatives or your family, and the people around you.
The next step is to control stroke risk factors. Control high blood pressure by limiting salt intake, avoid stress, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, quitting smoking, and exercise regularly. In circumstances that are often needed drug intervention to support the lifestyle changes that have been cultivated. Various studies have shown the success of intervention programs to reduce the incidence of risk factors for stroke. The incidence of stroke in different countries showed a decrease due to the success of the reduction of salt intake, stop smoking campaign, and a diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

Stroke can be prevented
One of the main issues in the handling of optimal stroke is a race against time. A term known as "time is brain". The main goal of stroke treatment is to save the brain tissue deficient supply of nutrients and oxygen. Time Limits optimal treatment of stroke is 4.5 hours. The more rapid diagnosis and appropriate treatment, the greater the like lihood of recovery.
One major obstacle is the delay in the management of stroke patients coming to hospital care. The main causes of delay in coming to the hospital are less familiar symptoms of a stroke by the public. Association of stroke in the United States campaign for the use of simple measuring tools for early detection of stroke. This tool is known as FAST (Face, Arm, Speech, and Say Test). In the Indonesian language of this size can be translated as "smile movement, and talk." Measurement campaign is shown to improve patient arrival to the hospital. This tool is used by asking the patient to smile, raised his hand, and speaking. One of the movement dysfunction, smile and greeting should be suspected as symptoms of a stroke until proven not.

What can I do?
Theme days a year throughout the world stroke is "what can I do?". A critical question that challenges all parties concerned about the stroke service. Society should be more concerned neighbor risk factor for stroke. Ask yourself and the people closest to you "already know whether blood tension this week?" When not measure your blood pressure, and when the high did immediately intervene to lower blood pressure. Do something similar to blood sugar and cholesterol. Remind yourself and those closest to you to stop smoking.
Stroke is a medical emergency. Step diagnosis and appropriate treatment will provide optimal results. Immediately recognize a stroke, and immediately taken to hospital with stroke facilities. Campaign "smile, movement, and talk" can be used to suspect that someone has a stroke. Medical officers involved in the management of stroke should look at stroke as a medical emergency. Treatment of stroke is a race against time. In such conditions, rapid and appropriate treatment would be necessary. Successful treatment of stroke will depend on the cooperation of patients, families, and medical officers. Let us welcome the day a stroke in the whole world, hoping "to get a better stroke services in Indonesia.
